Exclusive residential enclave

Welcome to Glenview

The Village of Glenview is a terrific Chicago suburb rich in history and culture. It is nestled between forest preserves to the west and east, making Glenview an ideal place for people that like to be surrounded by nature.

Many residents in Glenview's neighborhoods share a sense of community and have their own neighborhood events. For instance, downtown neighborhoods are known for extravagant Halloween decorations. Some even create mini haunted houses for local trick-or-treaters to enjoy. Other neighborhoods have book clubs and block parties.

The experience of living in Glenview can differ depending on where someone lives. For example, some neighborhoods are quieter and do not have sidewalks, so they seem more rural. Others are close to downtown and are more lively.

Downtown neighborhoods have more activity around them. There are upscale condominiums, townhomes, and houses there. Residents living downtown are close to the library and many businesses. They are also close to the Metra station, which offers the convenience of an easy commute to the city.

One community called the Enclave is in the Grove. It is an exclusive gated neighborhood full of luxury homes. Another desired area is the Glen. It is a mixed-use space with an enchanting, walkable town square filled with shops, a park with a lake, and a golf course. The luxurious homes along the fairway are the most sought-after residences in the Glen.
