Deerfield

Upscale suburban style

Welcome to Deerfield

The Village of Deerfield is an affluent suburb of Chicago. Dense forests and rich farmland lie on the outskirts of the village and Highland Park. It also has access to Lake Michigan, which is east of town.

Downtown Deerfield is made up of four areas. The Shops at Deerfield Square and Deerfield Village Centre are the heart of the business district. The other two sectors comprise the Deerfield Public Library, the village hall, the Metra station, and area parks. In addition, it is the headquarters for several international corporations and research facilities.

There are also elegant townhomes and modern condominiums in the village, many of which are located downtown near the business district. Residents can walk out their doors and go to shops, restaurants, and community events that take place downtown or take the Metra to Chicago. It is all within walking distance of them.

Most of Deerfield is made up of cute neighborhoods with tree-lined streets and lovely single-family houses. There are over a dozen parks, so residents do not have to drive far to find a beautiful green space to relax or have fun. The homes in Deerfield have a wide range of sizes and styles, from small bungalows to grand multi-million dollar estates. Deerfield has a style to fit everyone’s taste.

Downtown is not the only place with great restaurants. The famed Carson's Prime Steaks & Famous Barbecue of Deerfield is a little south of downtown. It has a classy look, fine meat cuts, and mouth-watering barbecue ribs. If you want Mediterranean fare, Demetri’s Greek restaurant is not far away. The lovely decor and delicious cuisine are sure to please.
